This update improves the overall quality and durability of the Savage, further enhancing the driveability for even more Savage fun! The part numbers and names will remain the same.
All updates are available as separate option parts and all Savages sold prior to this update can easily be updated.
Here are all updates in detail:
1. Four Bevel Gear Differential
> better performance and durability
With four bevel gears the differentials are now capable of handling more power. This will improve durability and traction on all 4 tyres.

> better performance
The new design with stronger springs provide more precise steering and can handle high torque servos. Steering response is improved for better handling on all surfaces.
The spring tension of the servo saver is adjustable allowing it to be tuned for different servos and terrains.

3. Updated Throttle Return Spring and Throttle Servo Saver Spring
> better durability
New stiffer springs on the carb and servo saver work more efficiently than the old springs. Especially with high torque servos, the fail safe function (throttle closes) is greatly improved.

4. Aluminium Cast Brake Hub
> better durability
The new aluminium brake hub replaces the standard plastic brake hub. The drive train will be more durable and can handle more stopping power.

Washer on the tie-rod links will prevent them falling off on rough terrain or after big jumps.

6. Updated carburettor
> easier engine set up
The low end needle is now easier to set back to factory setting. The set screw has been redesigned so that when set to factory settings it sits flush with the carburettor. This makes it much easier to reproduce factory settings especially for beginners and therefore will reduce engine problems and returns.
The idle screw has been redesigned in the same way. The factory setting now is when the screw is flush with the carburettor. This again makes it much easier to reproduce factory settings especially for beginners and achieve a steady idle.
The new carburettor can be identified by the new silver throttle linkage which replaces the previous black one.

7. Updated Engine Instruction
> easier engine set up
The engine manual has been updated for the new carburettor and factory settings. It has also been improved to help beginners running-in and setting up the engine.

The new versions will now be shipped from HPI Europe.
You can identify the new kits by checking the box for the CE and “4 Bevel Gear Diffs” stickers.
These updates improve the overall quality, durability and performance of the Savage 25 RTR. No other truck has proven it’s quality and performance for such a long period of time as the Savage!

Imported from Japan for true "JDM" status, the Stage-D conversion is a complete set that transforms the HPI Nitro RS4 3 Evo car into a mid engine drifting machine. There have been a few electric drift cars on the market, but the HPI Stage-D Conversion Set is the first-ever nitro drift package!
Included in the Stage-D conversion is a mid-engine chassis that relocates the engine to the middle of the car to optimize the balance of the car for drift driving, tested and designed by the HPI Japan drift crew.
Just like the real drift cars, lightweight carbon fibre is included for maximum performance and durability. The Stage-D upper deck is made from high tech 2.5mm carbon fibre, as are the front chassis brace and receiver tray. The carbon fibre parts look great and add stiffness to the chassis.

The Savage Tower is showing off yet another new release from HPI, the Ford F100 bodyshell for the Savage monster trucks! Moulded from strong clear polycarbonate this shell comes with convenient pre-cut vinyl decal sheet including: photorealistic headlights, grille, tail lights, official logos, window frames, door handles and more...

Savage Aluminium Joint Bar (#86386)
The aluminium joint bar for the Savage TVP chassis will increase chassis strength and rigidity. The aluminium version is a straight replacement for the standard plastic bar.
Thread wear will be a thing of the past with the precisely cut thread and supplied steel screws, even for the most fanatical Savage owner who likes to rebuild their car after every run. The bar is machined from high quality aluminium and anodized in HPI purple.
