| Glow Starters | 
[Click to see larger image] | Glow starters are used to heat up the glow plug in your engine when starting your nitro powered RC car. A hot glow plug will enable the fuel to ignite when the engine is starting. An engine will not start without a hot glow plug.
This solid metal glow starter uses a 3 pincer claw which tightly grips the glow plug ensuring the best possible contact is achieved. Some cheaper alternatives will not ensure good contact is made with the glow plug. HPI glow starters give reliable contact between the glow starter and glow plug, helping you to start your engine quicker and prevent possible damage.
This glow starter comes with a rechargeable battery built into the handle and an EU 2-pin charger. |
